Pleat Street in the Community
Hope believes that living in a community means one should give back to worthy causes whenever possible. In the past few years, Pleat Street has donated time and fabric arts to notable organizations including:
- Morris Brandon Elementary School lobby – sewed cushions and pillows for main campus lobby
- Morris Brandon Elementary Silent Auction – donated custom pillows for silent auction
- Catalyst for Care Program for Foster Children – donated custom pillows for silent auction
- Agape Community Center outreach ministry – donated fabric and sewed curtains for needy family
- Assisted living home – sewed pouches for elderly to attach to walkers
- K-Life youth ministry for kids – sewed shower curtain with large “K” at K-Life house
- St. Philips Cathedral – provided supplies to make props at vacation bible school
